Hello!

I’m Adriana Diaz, a marketing and communications professional with a deep passion for music and live events. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work on digital campaigns, social media strategy, event promotion, and brand development—helping artists and creative projects connect with the audiences they deserve. What excites me most is the intersection of creativity and strategy: finding innovative ways to tell stories, build communities, and elevate experiences. I thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and love collaborating with people who share my drive for music, culture, and meaningful connections.

My Story

I am a music industry professional driven by a deep interest in music marketing, digital strategy, and artist development, with a particular focus on how K-pop systems can be thoughtfully adapted to Western and Latin music markets. I’m drawn to the ways structure, storytelling, and long-term vision can shape not only global pop success, but also more sustainable and artist-centered careers.

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where my love for music grew across genres, cultures, and languages. Wanting to understand the business behind creativity better, I moved away to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Marketing, with a minor in Media Arts & Studies, at the University of Kentucky. I later continued my education internationally, earning a Master’s degree in Global Entertainment & Music Business from Berklee College of Music in Spain. This experience deeply shaped my global perspective on the industry.

During my time at Berklee, I worked as Marketing and Partnerships Manager for INOCON, a live music and entertainment conference, where I supported marketing strategy, partnerships, and event promotion. I also co-founded MILA Records, a small independent record label, where I gained hands-on experience in label operations, artist support, and creative strategy—further solidifying my interest in building artist-centered systems from the ground up.

Creatively, I enjoy working hands-on with content creation, video editing, and digital campaigns, while strategically, I’m motivated by data-informed decision-making and audience insight. I’m currently expanding my analytical skill set by learning SQL, with the goal of better understanding fan behavior, performance metrics, and the role data plays in shaping modern music strategy.

Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to teams that are pushing the boundaries of global pop while remaining culturally grounded. I aspire to help develop artists, systems, and ideas that reflect a more connected, intentional future for the music industry—one where creativity, culture, and strategy coexist.
